Trade Plan: MAGIC OF OCTOBER - 10/23/2023 - ES/SPY/SPX
Listen up, everyone. New week, new game. First off, I've added PDFs to the Discord, so if you're looking to dive deep into each study, that's where you should be headed. Sure, there's a brief rundown on Sierra Charts and Trading View, but let’s be real – the PDF goes the extra mile. You want a hard copy? Print it out.
I know you’ve all got questions, but hold your horses. The big elephant in the room – the Balance Method? I've got it covered. There's a dedicated PDF in the works, along with an intensive breakdown. So instead of playing those Zoom videos on a loop like some broken record, you’ll have a streamlined guide.
Curious about how it’ll look? There's a sneak peek below. Once it’s up, dive in. And don’t hesitate to reach out with questions. You know the drill.
Alright, the prep work's in the books. Now, let's shift our focus to what's on deck for tomorrow and the week ahead. Time to play ball.
Trade Plan for ES
Initial Observations:
12B Price: 4261.25
Daily Balance (DB) Level: 4307.25
Weekly Balance (WB) Level: 4304.75
Look, when you see a gap like this between the 12B and DB, it's easy to think we're heading into the bear territory. But let's not jump the gun here. While it might seem bearish on the open, we're not looking at an end-of-the-world scenario. I am bullish for rest of year, and one hiccup isn't changing that outlook. Last week? I was bullish, in fact, that I only considered long positions from those lower dynos. Opted out of the shorts entirely. Listen, not every play gets you a grand slam. Sometimes, you just need to get on base. And that's what we did. You keep getting those consistent base hits, and soon enough, you'll find yourself rounding home plate. The game's about patience and strategy, not just swinging for the fences. Stick to the game plan, and that homerun? It'll come when you least expect it.
Here's my play: it's October. And history tells us it's a tricky month. The last thing I want is to be caught off-guard. I'm patient; I'm waiting for the market to show its hand. If that means sitting out a trade for a week, so be it. My sights? Set on 4200. That's where everything aligns: the weekly, the daily lower dyno, and the monthly buy zone. The board's set, and I'm just waiting for the right move.

One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
