October - Trading Competition
Little update for October, and trade plan for tomorrow will be sent out tonight around 9:30-10:00PM PST
Listen up. Over the last few weeks, I've been mentoring someone right here in my office. They've had a hard time finding their footing, mainly because they couldn't keep their cool when the trade went south. Instead of sticking to the playbook, they panicked, and before they knew it, they were deep in the red. They started second-guessing, making trades that made no sense - hell, they couldn't even justify half of them to me. They jumped into this online competition with BluSky, and halfway through, they're in my office saying it's all smoke and mirrors, that it's impossible to come out on top.
So, I told them straight: it's not impossible. It's about discipline, about understanding the balance. These online platforms? They're not rocket science if you play by the rules. So, I decided to step in, show them how it's done. With just 5 days on the clock, I jumped in and landed in 7th place, all while managing my regular accounts. And guess what? My protégé, who started off in the red, finished right behind me in 8th. They didn't mimic my moves, but they knew where I was putting my chips.
By the way, I've got a note here from Josh, the co-founder of BluSky. I've vetted them personally, even had a few conversations outside of just texts. I'm vouching for them. If you're thinking of giving them a shot, be my guest. And a little heads up, Josh is on our discord too.
Alright, folks, gear up. October's competition is about to kick off. Enjoy the game. Raptor, the one I've been mentoring, is diving in again. But don't expect me to hold their hand like last time. My stepping in was a one-time lesson, to show them how to play by the rules, especially when those rules are tighter than what I deal with on my personal and POA accounts. Play smart, and be patient.
📢 If you missed todays educational stream, I would review the recording it as it was a good one. Topic was execution based on tick and range charts based on Balance Levels. Next Sunday, it will be Footprint and DOM executions, all based on taking trades from the Balance levels.
